Pissed!!!

Just for the record...I dont like people who dont appreciate the work i put into mixing CDs for them. It makes me mad. If I put in 4 hours to make one CD....give it at least a half hour and let me know what you thought of it.

Not ever again....

The Karsh revival

The album "Broken English" rocks...

Driving me to tears...

Why is it that Indian classical music reduces me to tears...?

All it takes is a note of a violin or a flute...

It's not mental...there's a physical pain in my heart.

We never change...

And I wanna fly and never come down
And live my life and have friends around

We never change, do we? No, no
We never learn, do we?

.
.
.

So I wanna live in a wooden house
where making more friends would be easy
I wanna live where the sun comes out ...

(From Coldplay's "We Never Change")

I couldn't resist...

..bought "Confessions on a Dance Floor" by Madonna.

I realized I should cos I'd been playing the songs on repeat mode from various websites. Especially "Isaac". After a point of time, it's really not worth it to face the ads and pop-ups. So my first "album" purchase at iTunes. :-) I'm still new to the software....just a couple of months...so this is a big deal for me.

It's weird how I cant imagine how I survived without my iPod before. I used to carry my CD player around while I was in college. But since I came to New York, that also didnt happen much cos I was already covered in jackets and stuff so it was simply too painful to carry more stuff. So now that I have my sexy little Nano....music to go always! And I'm loving it. The checklist for when I leave the house has one more item now: keys, wallet, phone, iPod. ;-)

I think my next acquisition is going to be something by Robbie Williams.....yup...Euro Dance/Pop is being revived in the house.

Shake it till the moon becomes the sun....

Fix You

In anticipation of the Coldplay concert this weekend...my current favorite song by them...

When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide your home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream, down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I..

Tears stream, down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I..

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.
